The Huawei P40 Pro is a follow-up to the Huawei P30 Pro last year that replaced the conventional RGB sensor with a new RYYB sensor. According to the latest article, the Huawei P40 Pro will also have a custom RYYB sensor, citing details gleaned from a closed-door briefing session. The phone comes with a “Second Generation Periscope Zoom Camera” and the AI features “never before seen.” Huawei previously revealed via an online event that it would launch the P40 series of phones on March 26.

Gizmochina’s study says the Huawei P40, which guarantees New Records in mobile photography, will improve its technology demonstrated with the Huawei P30 Pro last year. The report says that the second generation periscope photo zoom will be provided by the Huawei P40 Pro. The Huawei P30 Pro periscope zoom allows 5x optic zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and 50x optical zoom to be recalled.
The study also speculates the hybrid zoom range and improved optic zoom capabilities of second-generation technology that is being implemented in the Huawei P40 Pro. According to the study, at a closed-door briefing, Huawei said, “Huawei has invested a lot in this technology and would not want it to be lost,” in relation to the returnee RYYB sensor for the Huawei P40 Pro. The RYYB sensor allows for more light than a normal RGB sensor to obtain more information in effect.

Within the study also, Huawei adds AI capabilities in the P40 series of telephones “never before seen.” This means higher image processing and camera efficiency overall. All of this would actually work together, as the company says, to create “new records.”

Recently, several pictures have leaked from Weibo, one of which was a launch poster showing the Huawei P40 Pro version of one smartphone with triple front cameras. The second image shows a case with the Porsche Design logo for the Huawei P40 Pro. A quad rear camera setup and a 6.5 to 6.7-inch screen are planned for the Huawei P40 Pro. It also has a flagship processor from HiSilicon Kirin. On 26 March, the Huawei P40 smartphone Series will launch.
